As Husky produces and transports conventional oil and gas at facilities that will be subject to methane regulation being developed as part of the Saskatchewan Climate Change Plan, it is engaging with government on regulation design and implantation that will meet the Federal government’s expectation for equivalency. Husky’s goal is to support achievement of government’s targets while minimizing the costs to industry. New regulation should provide credit for early actions taken to reduce emissions.
